Albilad Verse App To Open Kids Account

Albilad Verse app is designed for kids between 5 and 15 years old with the aim of developing their financial awareness and instilling responsibility and confidence among them in a unique educational way. It will be linked to the parent’s account in Albilad app, where the parent can create an account for their kids and manage it through Bank Albilad’s application. The application also offers a virtual world for kids, which provide kids the ability to interact with their friends and earn points that can be used in the metaverse.

What are the differentiating features of a Albilad Verse app? 

  • Request money transfer from the parent.
  • Request a Goal or more from the parents to encourage them to save money.
  • Add friends and play with them. 
  • Transfer money to friends after the approval of their parents.
  • Complete the tasks assigned by the parent.
  • Receive gifts and rewards from their parents (money, trips, gifts, vouchers, and a lot more).
  • Purchase vouchers and gift cards after the parent’s approval.

Through Albilad Verse App, parents will be able to

  • Transfer money to their kids' account on the Albilad Verse app.
  • Assign tasks to their kids that will appear on the Albilad Verse app, and transfer rewards upon completion.
  • Approve the Goal/s created by their kids.
  • Approve money transfer to their kids’ friends.
  • View kid's card details.
  • View their kid’s friends list.
  • Reset the password, unlink the device, or disable kids access to Albilad Verse app.
  • Transferring money between friends requires the approval of the parents of both the sender and the beneficiary.

If The Parent Doesn’t Have An Account In Bank Albilad

  • Go to Albilad app
  • Choose "Join Us"
  • Choose "Open a new bank account" and then "Get started"
  • Fill in the account opening form
  • Authenticate the account opening request through IAM Service/Absher or at Albilad ATM that supports fingerprint
  • Your account will be created immediately
  • Click on the shopping cart at the bottom of the page 
  • Parent will proceed to accounts and select kids spending account.   
  • Parent will enter their national ID / Iqama number to view the list of their kids details.
  • Parent will select the desired kid to open their account. The kid’s age must be between 5-15 years old. 
  • Parent will have the ability to select between automatic top up or manual top up.
  • In case automatic top up is enabled, parent will select the cycle and the end date of the top up.
  • Parent will choose the payment method that they desire for their kid.
  • Account details will be viewed prior to opening an account.

If The Parent Has An Account In Bank Albilad


  • The parent sign in Albilad app
  • Click on the shopping cart at the bottom of the page 
  • Parent will proceed to accounts and select kids spending account.   
  • Parent will enter their national ID / Iqama number to view the list of their kids details.
  • Parent will select the desired kid to open their account. The kid’s age must be between 5-15 years old. 
  • Parent will have the ability to select between automatic top up or manual top up.
  • In case automatic top up is enabled, parent will select the cycle and the end date of the top up.
  • Parent will choose the payment method that they desire for their kid.
  • Account details will be viewed prior to opening an account.

Steps To Open a new account Albilad Verse for children​

  • Kid will download the Albilad Verse App click here

  •  The application will ask the kid if they have an existing account. 
  • Click on “Yes” then the application will request from the kid to open the camera to scan the QR code from the parents’ device.

Can my kids log in to their accounts from the same device? 

Yes, Albilad Verse app has the option to login with different accounts (each kid has a separate account). 

Can I disable Albilad Verse app for my kid? 

Yes, you can temporarily disable the app and enable it again from your account on Albilad app.

What happens to the account if my kid’s device is lost or stolen?

You can unlink the account and its credentials from Albilad app.
